So — been using this thing for something like four months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
What got me on it was actually pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an each way payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in first, every time, even a simple single SPAM.
Their single SPAM calculator is the part I open most — you put in the price and your stake and it spits out profit and total return instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. The thing that actually shifted things for me was the nerdier tools. The odds-to-probability converter that shows how much the bookie's taking, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent if I'm covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. The design is very functional, let's say — no frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there's no proper app, it's a website and that's it — slight shame but worth saying.
Right, that's me. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you still does the maths on paper, have a look — saves me plenty of dumb bets I'd have regretted.
